Marathon
You trained for 16 weeks. That deserves more than a finisher-line photo.
Skoma turns your training season and race day — every long run, every split, every photo — into a printed hardcover book.
Questions? See the FAQ below.
How it works
- Bring your training. Connect Strava, or upload GPX, FIT, or CSV files from any watch — race day and every training run included.
- We build the book. A training-season overview (monthly mileage chart, day-by-day heatmap), the race itself — route line, splits, elevation — and the moments around it: expo, the day before, the medal at the finish. Your photos are matched in automatically.
- Edit anything, then order. Fix stats, swap photos, pick a theme — then order the hardcover from $49.99 with 50 pages included and free worldwide shipping.
What's inside the book
- The training season. Total kilometres, a monthly mileage chart, and a day-by-day training heatmap — the shape of the build.
- Race day. The route line, your splits, and the elevation profile.
- The moments around it. Expo day, the day before, a letter to yourself the night before the start.
- The finish. The medal, and the day after.
Buying it for a runner as a gift
Most people reading this have just watched someone cross a finish line and want to mark it with something better than another medal hanger. A finisher already owns the medal and the race tee. What they almost never own is the sixteen weeks that made the medal possible, gathered into one object.
- It works after the race, not before. The book is built from training that has already happened, so there is nothing to plan ahead or rush into the post. It is just as good three weeks late as it is on the day.
- You need the runner for one step. Their training lives in their own Strava account, and nobody can pull someone else's activities, so they connect it once or upload their watch files. Everything after that is yours: the pages, the photos, the dedication, the print.
- One price, no subscription. $49.99 for the linen hardcover with 50 pages included and free worldwide shipping. Designing it costs nothing, so you can build the whole book before you decide to order it.

Marathon book FAQ
Do I need Strava?
No. GPX, FIT, and CSV files from any watch or app work too — or enter your training runs and race day by hand. Strava just makes it faster.
What if I don't log every training run?
The book adapts to what you have. Race day is the centerpiece regardless of how complete your training log is — a few key long runs are enough to tell the story of the build.
How long is the book?
A typical training block fits near the 50 pages included with every book; extra pages are $0.99 each.
Can I edit it before ordering?
Every page is editable before you order: swap photos, rewrite captions, change layouts and themes — the generated book is a starting point, not a final draft.
What does it cost?
$49.99 for the linen-hardcover book with 50 pages included, free worldwide shipping. Creating and editing the book is free — you only pay to print. No subscription.
What do you get someone who just ran a marathon?
Most finishers already own the obvious things: another medal hanger, another pair of socks, another race tee. What they almost never have is a record of the sixteen weeks that made race day possible. A book of the training block and the race is that record. If you want something smaller, a framed finish-line photo or their splits engraved on a plaque work for the same reason: they mark the work, not just the day.
Can I buy it as a gift for someone else?
Yes, with one honest catch. The training data lives in the runner’s own Strava account and you cannot pull someone else’s activities, so they connect it once, or upload GPX, FIT, or CSV files. Everything after that is yours to do: design the pages, write the dedication, and pay for the print. Many people give it as a make-this-together gift for exactly that reason.
How is this different from a Camino or journey book?
A race book builds toward one day: the training block, then the race as the climax. A journey book tells a multi-day walk itself, one page per day, with no single climactic finish line.
