Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of Skoma. By creating an account or using the service you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Skoma lets you create photo books from your endurance training and race data and order them as printed hardcover books. We also offer free tools such as pace and race-time calculators and a training-plan generator. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We do our best to keep the service running reliably, but we offer it on an "as is" basis and don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for any activity that happens under it. Keep your credentials safe. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload or create — activities, photos, text, and the books themselves. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content only to provide the service to you.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to use the content you upload, including photos of other people and any third-party images.

4. Sharing

If you generate a public share link, anyone with the link can view that book. You're responsible for what you choose to share publicly — including any personal information about other people that appears in it. You can revoke a share link at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything illegal or harmful.
• Upload content you don't have the right to share.
• Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or circumvent our security.
• Scrape or resell data obtained through the service.
• Impersonate another person.

6. Free tools

Our free calculators and the training-plan generator are provided for general information only. They are not professional, medical, or coaching advice, and any plan they produce is a starting point rather than a prescription. Train sensibly and consult a qualified coach or physician before making significant changes to your training.

7. Purchases & printing

Creating and editing books is free. Ordering a printed book is a one-time purchase. We show the full price before you pay, and payment is handled by our payment processor. Printed books ship with free worldwide shipping and typically arrive within about 5–8 business days after your order is placed.

Because each book is personalized and made to order, orders can't be cancelled, returned, or refunded once placed, except where required by law.

8. Strava and third parties

When you connect Strava, your use of Strava data is also governed by Strava's own terms. We're not responsible for third-party services or their content.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your books and data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

10. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skoma will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
