Camino de Santiago Stage Planner
Pick your route, tell us how far you like to walk in a day, and we lay the whole Camino out day by day — real stage towns, optional rest days, and a printable plan you can take with you.
How the planner builds your itinerary
Each route ships with its classic guidebook stages — the towns pilgrims actually stop in. The planner walks the list in order and merges consecutive stages while they fit inside your daily comfort, so a relaxed 20 km/day plan and an ambitious 35 km/day plan use the same towns, just grouped differently.
Stages that are longer than your comfort on their own are kept whole and flagged — the Camino has a few unavoidable long days, and pretending otherwise would put your overnight in a field.
Rest days
Add a rest day every 5 or 7 walking days and the planner slots them into the itinerary with dates. Most pilgrims wish they had planned one in a city they loved rather than losing one to sore feet — schedule it on purpose.
Frequently asked questions
Are these the official stages?
There are no official stages — these are the typical guidebook breakdowns most pilgrims use, and distances are approximate. Every town on the list has pilgrim accommodation, and you can stop between them.
Can I change the plan once it is generated?
The plan regenerates instantly when you move the daily-distance slider or toggle rest days — experiment until the shape of the walk feels right, then print it or download the CSV.
